📖 Handbook Modernization Proposal Available

A comprehensive 2024 Handbook Modernization proposal has been developed featuring a four-tier framework for PMTNM governance and operations. This proposal provides a detailed roadmap for transitioning from the current 2014 handbook to a modern, digital-first structure that addresses contemporary teaching needs and organizational requirements. ARTICLE X: PARLIAMENTARY

Section 1: Parliamentarian

            The President shall appoint a parliamentarian to provide parliamentary opinion during meetings of the Board of Directors and the annual business meeting of the Association.

Section 2

            The rules contained in the current edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised shall govern the Association's meetings in all cases in which they are applicable, and in which they are not inconsistent with the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws of the Association and any special rules of order the Association may adopt.
